Passive Phase Change Glazings
CMC

Passive phase change glazings change their opacity automatically when exposed to heat or other external stimuli.

Technologies included:
Thermochromic Glazings   |   ThermoSEE Glass

Patterned Glazings
CMC

Patterned glazings are silk-screened glazings whose so-called frit design is printed on or annealed to the glass. This design, often decorative, provides some shade and sun control.

Technologies included:
Frit Glasses   |   Okacolor Panel

Phase Change Light Control Films
CMC

Phase change light control films actively modulate their opacity given an input from the user. This input triggers an electric current that causes the crystalline structure to switch from a scattered, cloudy state to an aligned, transparent state. The crystals are colorless.

Technologies included:
Liquid Crystal Glazings

Prismatic Panels
CMC

Prismatic panels are rigid sheets of PMMA that have been etched or molded with sawtooth prismatic elements. These elements typically refract low-angle direct light and reject high-angle direct light.

Technologies included:
Acrylic Prismatic Panels
